Japanese Restaurant Yashio

This pleasant Japanese-style restaurant is located in the back of the lounge on the first floor of the Main Building. During the day, enjoy soba noodles made with local buckwheat flour and Japanese-style picnin-box lunches; during the evening, try tasty wicker basket steamed items, shabu-shabu courses or famous yuba bean-curd delicacies, Yashio's true Nikko specialty, and trout. Foreigners always give this restaurant a high rating, in part because of the appetite-satisfying size of its servings.

Maple Leaf Lounge

Located on the 1st floor of the Main Building, during the daytime this facility is a popular coffee shop where visitors enjoy light meals and snacks. During the evening, it transforms itself into a convivial cocktail lounge under subdued lignting - the perfect place to enjoy conversation after a meal. You are welcome to bring the whole family, as soft drinks, cakes, and other light refreshments are available.

Nikko Kanaya Restaurant

Located on the 2nd floor of the Main Building, this dining room invites you to enjoy the Nikko Kanaya Hotel's traditional French cuisine and superb service in a room of classic decor. Simple, convenient lunches are also offered during the day. This is a resort horel, and you are welcome to dine in casual resortwear during the day and evenings. The yukata (informal summer kimono or nightware) and slippers in your hotel room or beachware and tank tops are not suitable ware for the dining room. Please check heavy outerware and bags at the cloakroom in the 1st floor lobby.
