How do I find and book a hotel/ resort with Sino.Net?
Sino.Net offers a large range of hotels and resorts located in Asia, Africa,
America, Europe and the Middle East. Our Search Navigation Tool helps
you defining what kind of accommodation you are looking for (our suggestions
and special offers can also help you in making your choices).
Just follow
the steps, and book the hotel you like simply by filling in the reservation
form. Note: We accept on-line reservation up to 9 months in advance. For
more than 9 months reservation, please contact us directly at reservation@Sino.Net
2.After I make my reservation, how long does it take
to get a reservation confirmation?
Within 1 working day (not including Sunday & Public Holidays). When
you make a reservation with us, within hours, you will receive our
Reservation Request Acknowledgement via e-mail, confirming that your reservation request
is now being processed.
At the same
time we will contact and secure your reservation request with the hotel
property. Assuming availability, a reservation is then made with your
information confirming your reservation and your credit card payment will
be a) forwarded to the hotel as a guarantee or b) the reservation amount will be settled as soon as confirmed. (Option B is only available if the Room is on a prepaid basis).
Upon confirmation (usually within 1 working
day), we will send you a confirmation with your reservation details
via e-mail or fax. If your reservation is on a pre-paid basis a check-in voucher showing your reservation details, full name as in passport will be directly faxed from the local ground handling agent.
Several Partner
Hotels of Sino.Net, do not require prepayment for the full reservation
amount. They do require a valid credit card to secure a one-night deposit
by time of reservation. If you do not receive any mail from us within
1 working day after placing an order, please kindly contact us immediately
at reservation@Sino.Net
3.What if the hotel that I selected is not available?
You will be notified via e-mail (within 1 working day after placing your
order) and you will not be charged.
4.Do I need a credit card to make a hotel reservation?
Yes. All Reservations (up to 9 months) are on a pre-payment OR Guarantee basis. For your
convenience, Sino.Net offers credit card payment directly from our web
site.
However,
you will not be charged until we get confirmation from your selected accommodation.
We accept payment by Amex, Visa, Master, JCB, and Discover cards only.
For customers
within North America, we gladly accept Western Union Transfers and Telecheck
Express Clearance Services.
For Corporate
MICE clients, we accept wire transfers via #ABA, SWIFT or Telegraphic
Transfer via our US Bankers
5. When will I be charged?
You will be charged only if your selected hotel is available. After receiving
your reservation, we will check for room's availability. If your selected
accommodation is available, we will make reservation and your credit card
payment will be settled on receipt by us of confirmation of availability
from the selected hotel.
Several
Partner Hotels of Sino.Net, do not require prepayment for the full reservation
amount. They do require a valid credit card to secure a one-night deposit
by time of reservation. Every property on sino.net lists clearly if a valid credit card is required to guarantee
your reservation or if the property is on a pre-paid basis.
6.Whose name is the reservation made under?
The accommodation's reservation is made under your name. You can check-in
with your passport (showing the same name as when you fill out the reservation
request form).
7. What is the latest time that I can make a reservation?
We accept reservations that are made at least 3-working days (not including
Sat, Sun & Public Holidays) before the check-in date. For corporate clients
that have established a corporate account with us, we accept reservations
on a 1-working day notice.
8.Are your rates per room or per person?
For hotels, our rates are per room per night and please note that Single
means for 1 person and Twin means for 2 persons maximum (unless otherwise
specified).
9.Is there any fee using Sino.Net service?
There is no charge to use Sino.Net for reserving hotels and resorts.
10.Can I make a reservation directly through the
hotel or via another CRS / GDS System?
The special rates listed on Sino.Net are only available through our partner websites. If you would like to make a reservation directly
with the hotel you will need to contact them directly. If you wish like to reserve aroom via a Global CRS or GDS System, please click here to connect to our the Pegasus GDS System.
11.What is your cancellation policy?
We have taken great care to make our Cancellation Policy as flexible as possible. We understand that you may want to amend your travel dates - even at the last minute, or that you may have to cancel your travels - due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note that we do not charge any cancellation fee for booking requests in progress. However once your booking is final, i.e. we have sent the HOTEL VOUCHER to the email address provided during your booking process, our Cancellation Policy applies.
If we receive your notification of cancellation or your booking amendment request prior 14 days preceding your check-in date or unless stated otherwise, a one time administration fee of 5% based on your room rate (for the duration of your entire stay) shall be charged to your credit card with a minimum fee of USD 35.
If we receive your notification of cancellation or booking amendment request within 14 days preceding your check-in date the cancellation fee varies with the hotel concerned. Unless otherwise stated, it is 50% of your room rate for the duration of your entire stay, or in case you stay only one night the full amount will be charged.
At times the particular hotel you have booked with, may stipulate different amendment or cancelation policies not covered here. Any policies dictated by the hotel will always supercede those stated here. In such case our Customer Service Agents will of course inform you clearly and completely.
How to cancel?
You may submit your notification of cancellation via email or fax. Please be advised that we will not accept any cancellation requests by phone. Cancellations must show your BOOKING ID and email address you originally used to make your booking. Cancellations are ONLY valid if you receive an email from us confirming receipt of your cancellation. If you have submitted your cancellation and do not receive our confirmation of receipt by email do contact us IMMEDIATELY.
