Dr. Clemens Bechter, President
Clemens is Adjunct Associate Professor at Universitas 21 Global (Singapore),
Asian Institute of Technology (Bangkok), Escuela de Alta Dirección y
Administración (Barcelona), and Euro*MBA (Netherlands), where he teaches
eCommerce subjects to graduate and doctoral students.
Prior to that, he gained
solid management experience as Managing Director of the UK subsidiary of
Zweckform Büroprodukte GmbH (now known as Avery-Dennison-Zweckform, London) and
Product Manager at BASF AG. Clemens received a Ph.D. from the University of
St.Gallen, Switzerland for his dissertation on computer-aided product
controlling through the use of object-oriented programming. He pioneered these
and other now essential e-commerce tools and published about computer viruses
and their positive use during the 1980s.
Clemens is member of the supervisory committee of the International MBA in
Tourism and Leisure Management , Paris-Lodron University of Salzburg, Austria.
Dr. Dietmar E. Hirt, Chief Financial Officer
Dietmar is the Managing Director and founding partner of an U.S.-based venture capital firm specializing in IT and health care investments Conexus Capital Inc.. Dietmar has also been a founder partner and managing director of Acanthus Capital Group Inc. a New York City based investment banking firm specializing in raising private capital for small and large corporations, and in mergers and acquisitions of middle-market companies.
Previously, he worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Salomon Brothers Inc. (now Citicorp), where he assisted in making private equity investments, raising money from the public market, and providing valuation and financial advisory services, rendering fairness opinions, and executing privatizations, acquisitions and mergers for a wide spectrum of companies.
Dietmar advised companies in many basic as well as high-tech industries such as business services, consumer goods, chemicals, health care, manufacturing, software, telecommunications, data networking, transportation, and financial sectors. He has been on the board and advisory committees of many private companies.
Dietmar holds the equivalent of an MBA and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cologne in Germany with related studies at Harvard University, Boston and H.E.C., Paris, France. |
