The events are celebrated splendidly with loud music, blatant display of fireworks and flowers, beauty contests and spectacular light extravagances. October -- Illuminated Boat Procession Chon Buri Buffalo Races.
November -- Loy Krathong, Phimai Festival.
December -- Phuket king's cup regatta
January -- Chiang Mai winter fair
March -- Asian barred ground dove festival PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:

6th April - Chakri Day
1st May -- International labour day
late July -- Vihao Phansa
